SODIUM CARBOXYL METHYL CELLULOSE
(sodium CMC) or carboxymethyl cellulose
Sodium carboxyl methyl cellulose is the most universal chemical reagent from the group of water-soluble colloid. CMC is natural product as the result of the cellulose etherification chemical reaction.
The finished CMC is a white or light-yellow dry dust or chip. It has cementing power in hot and cold water.
